Controller and contact

Transcend Software AB (company reg. no. 559218-1050) is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: rasmus@transcendsoftware.se.

Information we process

We process your email, login and session data, project descriptions and answers, uploaded files and generated website material, build and security logs, subscription and domain identifiers, and messages you send us. Stripe handles card details; Forge does not store them.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to provide previews and subscriptions, secure accounts, communicate about delivery, handle payments and domains, prevent abuse, meet legal and accounting duties, and improve reliability. The legal bases are performance of a contract or pre-contractual request, legitimate interests in security and service operation, legal obligations, and consent where specifically requested.

Service providers and transfers

We use providers for EU hosting and object storage, payments (Stripe), transactional email (Resend), AI processing, deployment (Fly.io), and domain registration when requested. Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA under an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and project data while needed to provide the service. Deleting a project removes its stored uploads, snapshots and screenshots. Some payment, contract, withdrawal and accounting records are retained for the periods required by law or needed to establish legal claims. Backups expire according to their retention cycle.

Cookies

Forge uses only essential cookies for login security, CSRF protection and your language choice. We also keep anonymous daily counts of public funnel steps and UTM campaign labels; these contain no IP address, device identifier or account link. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability where applicable, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Contact us to exercise a right. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

AI and automated processing

AI services help plan, build and review websites and screen requests for safety. A request may be paused or rejected by that screening. Contact us if you want a human review of a decision.
