Terms of Service

1. The service

Transcend Forge creates a website from your description and provides a free live preview. A paid subscription covers first delivery, hosting and the benefits listed at Checkout. The service is provided by Transcend Software AB, company reg. no. 559218-1050, Sweden.

2. Free preview

The preview is free and does not require a subscription. Inactive unpaid previews and their infrastructure may be removed after the retention period shown in the service.

3. Subscription and price

The total recurring price, billing interval, any one-time domain price and included changes are displayed before Checkout. Stripe processes payment. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled.

4. Changes and additional charges

The project page shows the number of changes included each month and the disclosed price of an additional change. An accepted change to an already delivered site may go live without a new personal review.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through Manage subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; service continues through the period already paid for unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Hosting and a managed domain may stop after the subscription or paid domain period ends.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. At Checkout you can expressly ask us to begin delivery during that period. If the service is fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, the right may end as permitted by law. If you withdraw after performance has begun, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for what was supplied. You can submit a withdrawal at any time during the applicable period: Use the online withdrawal function.

7. Delivery and review

Rasmus personally checks the initial website before first delivery. You are responsible for reviewing content and confirming that it is accurate and lawful. Later changes you request go live as soon as they are built. You can restore any earlier version of your site yourself, at any time while your subscription is active, and at no cost. Your version history is kept if you cancel, so restoring becomes available again if you subscribe again.

8. Ownership and handover

You own the content you provide and the material produced for your site, including text, images and your domain. Transcend Software AB owns the application source code, the generic starter template and the Forge platform; access to the source code is not part of the subscription. On request, and in any event when your subscription ends, we provide a copy of your site's source code, its database and your uploaded files at no charge, together with a perpetual, non-exclusive right to use, modify and host that site. That right does not extend to the generic starter template or to the Forge platform itself. A purchased domain can be transferred to you or to another registrar — ask before the paid period ends. A domain you brought yourself always stays yours.

9. Responsibility

We provide the service with reasonable professional care. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited for a consumer. Tell us promptly about faults so we can investigate and correct them.
